Consular fees

By law, the consular fees are published in euros, but must be paid in Jordanian Dinar. The exchange rate is adapted from time to time.

All consular fees must be paid with bank card at the consulate.

As of 1 February 2026, the exchange rate from EUR to JOD will be 0.85.
 

Applicable as of February 1st 2026 - today

1.  Passport application

  • Passport 34 pages - Major (+18 years): € 75 = 63.75 JOD
  • Passport 34 pages - Minor (- 18 years): € 35 = 29.75 JOD
  • Passport 66 pages - Major (+18 years): € 240 = 204 JOD
  • Passport 66 pages - Minor (- 18 years): € 210 = 178.50 JOD
  • Emergency passport (Valid for one month): € 10 = 8.50 JOD
  • Emergency passport (Valid for one year): € 50 = 42.50 JOD

2. Identity card application (eID): € 20 = 17 JOD

3. Legalization: € 20 = 17 JOD

4. Emergency Travel Document (ETD): € 10 = 8.50 JOD

5. Various certificates and not otherwise covered deeds or procès-verbal: € 20 = 17 JOD   

6. Declaration of existence and issuance or legalization of a document establishing the state of war invalid: € 0

7. Certified copy: € 20 = 17 JOD

8. Mortuary certificate: € 0

9. Deed in relation to shipping: € 100   = 85 JOD

10. Deed concerning the civil status or nationality: € 10 = 8.50 JOD

11. Notarial deed€ 100 = 85 JOD

12. Visa application
(Applicable as of June 11th 2024 - today)

  • Visa A and C: € 90 =  76.50 JOD
  • Visa A and C (under the terms of a visa facilitation agreement): € 35 = 29.75 JOD
  • Visa D: € 180 = 153 JOD
