Returning to Belgium or moving to another country

When returning to Belgium, you have 8 days after your arrival to report it to the municipality.

If you are moving to another country (for which a different Belgian career consular post is responsible), it is in your best interest to register with that new Belgian consular post. The Belgian career consulate will update your administrative file and adjust your record in the National Register.
